Go Hyun-jung Gets Emotional as She Opens Up About Her Children for the First Time

On November 27, actress Go Hyun-jung appeared on the 271st episode of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block”, where she became emotional while talking about her children for the first time.
Go Hyun-jung shared, “Many people are curious whether I live with my children or not, but the first thing I can say is that a mother should just be comfortable, right? But that’s a distant hope. I haven’t lived with them, and I didn’t know it would be this sad to not be close. I didn’t realize how heartbreaking it is.”

Fighting back tears, Go Hyun-jung added, “I feel so sad when I think about it. It’s something I can’t fill. It’s gone, so I’m upset.”
Known for her iconic role as Mi-shil in the 2009 drama “The Great Queen Seondeok”, Go Hyun-jung gained immense popularity, and the scene depicting Mi-shil’s death achieved a 50% viewership rating per minute. She also won the Grand Prize at the 2009 MBC Drama Awards, during which she tearfully mentioned hoping her children were watching.
